Pictures: Local Residents (Incumbents and New Fades) Sign Up to Run for Local Offices

A lot of action at the Rutherford County Election Commission in recent days. Local residents are signing petitions to qualify for their run at locally elected seats. The most recent to sign their petition’s to qualify for a 2014 run include Rutherford County Sheriff Robert Arnold, Circuit Court Clerk Laura Bohling and Phil Griffin who will run for County Commission, District 7.

New Candidate: Phil Griffin has picked up a petition to seek the Republican nomination for County Commission, District 7.  Griffin was the first candidate for Commissioner to pick up a petition. Griffin said he is excited to take this next official step in his campaign to bring strong conservative leadership to the 7th district, he continued to say he considers it one of the highest honors of his lifetime to have the opportunity to seek public office and serve the great people of our county
