President Donald Trump will be in Nashville this coming Wednesday (3/15/2017).

Officials say the president will visit the Hermitage and lay a wreath on the grave of Andrew Jackson. This is to honor the 250th birthday of our nation's seventh president. Jackson was known as "Old Hickory" for his aggressive character.

The president will then head to downtown Music City for a 6:30 Wednesday evening rally at the Municipal Auditorium. For security reasons, doors will open at 3:30PM and participants are encouraged to arrive early.

Motorists are also encouraged to avoid roadways that connect the airport to the Hermitage and from there to the Municipal Auditorium, as security will be extremely high and traffic challenges are forecast to be significant.
