A 42 year old Murfreesboro woman who was arrested and charged with "Aggravated Statutory Rape, Prostitution and Failing to Appear in Court" will face Judge Bragg on Friday, November 4, 2016. The scheduled date is on the "Motion Docket."

Jennifer Lynn Vogel was apprehended this past April when she was seen exiting a motel room at the Regal Inn. When an officer asked who she was visiting at the motel, she responded "friends." Evidently she hesitated to give the officer names and that was when she told police she was there for prostitution, according to a police report. The report shows that Vogel then admitted to performing sex for $20 in one case and $35 was charged to a second subject.

Police confirmed the story with the two male subjects inside the motel room. One of the two was only 17 years of age while the other was 35 years old. Police spoke to the juvenile and also a 35 year old man who told police his name was Juan Silverio Ceballos-Camaja. The man was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and soliciting prostitution.

Vogel, was charged with aggravated statutory rape and prostitution. Ceballos-Camaja was charged with soliciting prostitution and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Vogel has remained behind bars since her arrest, which means she could count her time in jail as "Time served" when she appears in court on Friday for a motion. A motion is a written or oral application made to the judge to obtain a ruling directing that some act be done in favor of the applicant. The motion may also request that the issue be addressed at a hearing before the judge with all parties present.
