Bridge over Broad Street TDOT Project

Expected Lane Closures: Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 pm to 6:00 am: There will be alternating lane closures on NW Broad Street, Memorial Blvd, Old Fort Pkwy and Ridgley Road for construction of the new Overpass. There will be lane shifts and traffic interruptions. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times. Broadmor Blvd is closed to through traffic for construction work. W Lytle Street at Broad St is opened to traffic and is restricted to right-in and right-out movements only. Westbound traffic has been shifted to the north side to align with the newly constructed ramp. On Broad St, the northbound and southbound left turn movements can only be made during a protected phase with turn arrows. Appropriate traffic controls will be in-place.

W Lytle Street Roadway Improvement Project (Baker St to Church St)

Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Friday: W Lytle Street will be closed to through traffic between Walnut St and Maple St for construction work. N Maple St between College St and Burton St and W Lytle St between N Maple St and N Walnut St will be closed to through traffic until March, 2017. Access to local businesses will be kept open at all times. Message boards and appropriate traffic controls will be in place.

Rutherford County Judicial Center Project (between Burton St and Lytle St)

Expected Lane Closures: Wednesday, July 20, 2016 - Friday, March 31, 2017: As part of the Rutherford County Judicial Center construction, Burton St between Maple St and Church St will be closed to traffic to make roadway improvements. Burton St traffic will be detoured onto College St. Appropriate traffic controls will be in-place.

Middle Tennessee Widening Project (Greenland Dr to E Main St)

Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Friday: Traffic on Middle Tennessee Blvd has been shifted to the east side and reduced to two-lanes two-way between E Main St and Greenland Dr. E Lytle St is closed at Middle Tennessee Blvd. The section of E Lytle St between N Bilbro Ave and Middle Tennessee Blvd is only open to local traffic. Appropriate traffic control signs and message boards will be in place.

Sewer Pump Station Project (NW Broad St at Battlefield Pkwy)

Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 5 pm: Contractor for Water & Sewer Department will be installing sewer lines within TDOT right-of-way/Battlefield Pkwy. A small section of Battlefield Pkwy is closed. Underground bore work continues. Appropriate traffic controls will be in-place.

AT&T Overhead Fiber Installation Work (Memorial Blvd just south of Kingwood Dr)

Expected Lane Closures: Wednesday, Weather Permitting, 9:00 am to 2:30 pm: AT&T crews will be installing aerial fiber lines on E Clark Blvd at Memorial Blvd. Westbound right lane will be closed. Westbound through lanes will not be affected. Appropriate traffic controls will be in place.

City Urban Environmental Department Tree Removal Work (Medical Center Pkwy at Memorial Blvd)

Expected Lane Closures: Wednesday, Weather Permitting, 8:30 am to 10:30 pm: City Urban Environmental crews will be removing trees along Medical Center Pkwy near Memorial Blvd. Eastbound through/right lane will be closed. Appropriate traffic controls will be in place.
