In a follow to news that broke last week that created a lot of buzz in Murfreesboro, NewsRadio WGNS invited Rick Sain of Reeves-Sain Drug Store to our studios to talk to listeners...

So, the drug store will remain the same under a deal with Fred's to buy the storefront and pharmacy for 66-million dollars. Sain says customers can expect the same staff and products they've found in the community for the past 35-years.

Fred's, based in Memphis, acquired EntrustRx, a speciality pharmacy operation of Reeves-Sain that has facilities in Spring Hill and Columbus, Mississippi. Sain tells NewsRadio WGNS the sale was more about EntrustRx than anything else. Bottom line - Rick Sain says Reeves-Sain Drug Store is here to stay in Murfreesboro.
