The subject accused of fondling a 14-year old girl on a Rutherford County School Bus in 2008 and later re-arrested for violating the sex offender registry at age 20 in 2010 is now in California, according to police.

Police in Tustin, California located Brandon Stover from Murfreesboro this past week (7/28/16) at the Key Inn Motel on the West Coast. Police there made contact with Stover, a female and an infant in his motel room. Stover told Tustin Police that he left Murfreesboro to seek work.

Stover, who is now 26 years old, told police that he would return to Murfreesboro to turn himself in for failing to properly update his registration as a sex offender.

A warrant in Rutherford County has been obtained for the arrest of Stover.
