Friends of former District Attorney Guy Dotson, Sr., share their memories.

On a special Truman Show Thursday, former District Attorney Bill Whitesell recalls his friend and mentor:



Whitesell, who was hired as an assistant D-A by Dotson, remembers his first day at the office:



Dotson was first appointed district attorney in 1969 and served for 28-years in that position until his retirement in 1995. His successor was Whitesell.

Funeral arrangements have been announced by Woodfin Funeral Chapel in Murfreesboro. Visitation will be Monday from 3-7pm with funeral services Tuesday at 11am. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetary.
