The Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) as part of their Future Majority Project has recognized Dr. Bryan Terry as a candidate in their "14 in '14 Races to Watch". The Future Majority Project seeks to recruit, train, and support candidates that better reflect the full diversity of America. Dr. Bryan Terry is Native American and an enrolled member of the Choctaw Nation.

RSLC Board Member Christine Toretti said, "I applaud the candidates recognized today in these "Races to Watch" and thank them for leading the way to help us grow the Republican Party in their respective states."

"It is an honor to have been selected as a candidate to watch by the RSLC. My main goal is focusing on listening to constituents and becoming the best representative that I can be for District 48. But being able to lead in expanding the Republican Party while upholding our principles is something I hope to do, as well," said Dr. Bryan Terry.

The RSLC, also, has a "Right Women, Right Now" initiative to identify and recruit women in to state level elected office. In February of 2014, Dr. Bryan Terry hosted a women's event to empower women to get involved in the political process.
