The Rutherford County Republican Party is set to open a second county office for the general election campaign at 121 Front Street in Smyrna on Tuesday, September 18th at 6:30 p.m.  The public is invited to attend Tuesday’s grand opening, which will be immediately followed by the monthly meeting of the Rutherford County Republican Party Executive Committee.

Rutherford GOP Chairman Austin Maxwell said, “We have a strong contingent of Republican voters throughout the county, and we want to make it convenient for supporters in Smyrna and LaVergne to pick up yard signs and bumper stickers in support of the Romney-Ryan presidential campaign as well as materials for our local Republican legislative candidates.”

Maxwell added, “The American people are hungry for leaders who have the ‘real world experience’ and the business sense it takes to get our economy moving in the right direction. Governor Mitt Romney and Congressman Paul Ryan have the vision and the resolve we need to help get Americans back to work.”

Chairman Maxwell encourages voters to get involved with the election and to support the Republican legislative candidates from their districts, as well as the Romney-Ryan presidential ticket.  In addition to the new North Rutherford office, the party’s headquarters at 111 East Main Street in Murfreesboro will continue to serve Rutherford County voters.

Volunteers are needed to help staff the North Rutherford office, which will remain open for the duration of the election season.  For more information on the new North Rutherford office or to volunteer with the party or local campaigns, please call the Rutherford GOP headquarters at (615) 893-7219, or visit rutherfordgop.org
