Mark your calendars for Saturday December 12th from 12-8PM for the Downtown Holly Trolley Shopping Tour. This annual Holiday Shopping tradition is sponsored by the Downtown Murfreesboro Business Association. Shop at locally owned stores and restaurants in beautiful historic Downtown Murfreesboro. Enjoy holiday lights in the shops and historic homes along the tour. The Rutherford County Christmas Tree (Annual Tree Lighting December 4th) will be highlighting the center of downtown, and you just might see Santa Claus himself as you step back in time and take part in the tradition of shopping our local Downtown merchants. Downtown Murfreesboro has something for everyone with over 25+ unique shops and restaurants ready to serve local fun, flavor, and savings.

In addition to the one-of-a-kind items that you will find in over 25 participating Downtown shops, each store will feature special activities, treats, and entertainment that will be sure to engage both young and old. Visitors will see carolers, characters dressed in holiday themed costumes, and, of course, Santa Claus photo opportunities! Attendees will even have a chance to win a $1000 shopping spree of gift certificates from Downtown merchants! Simply put, you won't want to miss out on any of this fun!

To catch a FREE ride on the Trolley and begin the Shopping Tour park at Bank of America, Oaklands Museum or the MAC/National Dance Parking areas. The trolleys will travel on College Street, Maple Street around the Square, Vine Street, Church Street around the Square, E. Main to Spring Street, Academy, Burton, Maney down to Oaklands (stopping at Dreaming-n-Color), Walnut Street to The Nurture Nook Day Spa, St. Clair and Rice St. to the MAC and National Dance Club. Passengers may exit the Trolley at any point along the route, but can only board the Trolley at one of 6 convenient locations marked on our route map.

Entertainer MC's will be on the Trolley to make you smile as you hear about all the shops on the Tour and what shopping fun is in store for you at each location.
