Police responded to a robbery call at the Rite Aid Pharmacy on Memorial Boulevard Wednesday afternoon. When they got to the scene it was realized that the subject who robbed the store had already fled the scene.

The robber was not after cash, he was after drugs… painkillers to be exact. The pharmacy employee told officers the subject handed him a note telling him to give up ALL of the oxycodone pills so no one gets hurt. The Pharmacist said that he complied with the criminal and gave him close to 800 Oxycodone pills. The pills ranged in strength from 5mg to 20mg.
