Riverdale girls basketball coach Randy Coffman was named this year's Naismith High School Girls' Coach of the Year. The announcement came Monday, just a couple of days after his Lady Warriors won their second consecutive state championship.

Riverdale went 34-and-oh this season, defeating Memphis Central 66-59 Saturday. They're ranked number one in two national publications. There were five finalists, including Coffman and Keisha Hunt from Hamilton Heights in Chattanooga.
