An aggravated robbery unfolded at the College Grove Apartment complex on Sunday around 2:30, according to Murfreesboro Police. The victim told officers that two men entered his apartment who were acquaintances of his neighbor.

The victim said the two men came to his apartment and first carried on a casual conversation, then started assaulting him, striking him in the head. One of the two assailants pulled out a gun and told the 22 year old victim to hand them his money. However, the victim didn't have any cash. So instead, the victim handed the subjects the keys to his car.

The two men left in the victim's car, but have not been located.

While police were on the scene they noticed a bong on a desk in the victims' apartment. They also saw a bag of weed in a trash can. While it is not known if the robbery was drug related, the victim was cited for the marijuana possession prior to being transported to the hospital.
