Rutherford Co. Schools Now 4th Largest System in State

Rutherford County Schools has eclipsed Hamilton County Schools as the fourth largest school system in Tennessee. Supervisor of Instruction Richard Zago (ZAY-go) tells NewsRadio WGNS:

Zago says in the recent past, by combining Rutherford County and Murfreesboro City School systems, the number well exceeded enrollment in Hamilton County. However, with this year's growth, Rutherford County Schools alone at number four. That's below Memphis, Nashville and Knoxville school systems.
