Rutherford County Circuit Court Clerk Laura Bohling will officially announce her re-­?election intentions at a campaign kick off event this Thursday, September 19th, at 10 A.M. at the Rutherford County Republican Party Headquarters located at 111 E. Main Street.

Bohling, a Republican, was elected in 2010 and replaced long serving Democrat Eloise Gaither. Bohling will be a candidate in the May 6th, 2014 Republican primary.

"I look forward to continuing to serve the citizens of Rutherford County as their Circuit Court Clerk," she said in the release. "We have made many significant changes in the Clerk's office during my first term to better serve the public, such as creating a modern, efficient office. Plans are already in process for additional upgrades over the next few years."
