The Linebaugh Library board met Tuesday night and made a change in the total system name. It is now the Rutherford County Library System, and Director Rita Shacklett notes that it is important for each of the RCLS facilities to be able to identify with the community in which they serve. The downtown branch will continue to be called Linebaugh Library and other branches will also remain the same. It's just the total system name that was changed. Plus, she gives an update on the progress at the tech center, and reminds that this Saturday (9AM-noon) is the Friends of Linebaugh Book Sale in the storefront below the Linebaugh Library in the garage.
