In the wake of police officers being killed in Dallas, Texas after a Black Lives Matter rally was held that was against officer involved shootings of African Americans, more and more heads of law enforcement departments are speaking out.

In Dallas, four police officers and one Rapid Transit Officer were killed earlier this month.

In Baton Rouge, Louisiana, three law enforcement officers were killed and three were seriously injured this month. In that case, the shooter posted a video on July 10th, prior to the shooting, and stated, "Zero have been successful just over simple protesting."
