Rutherford Heart Walk announces the singer of the National Anthem

Noted bass-baritone and Nashville-area resident Lou Galterio will sing the National Anthem at the Rutherford Heart Walk on Sept. 19 at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital.

Lou's powerful voice has brought him many opportunities to sing for the NBA, the NFL, the NHL and Major League Baseball. He has sung for Monday Night Football at the Superdome, for the NBA Playoffs and for NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. Lou has also been invited to perform the anthem for the First Lady, the Speaker of the House, on Opening Day for the Joint Session of Congress and for the Governors of more than a dozen states.

The Rutherford Heart Walk will raise funds for the mission of the American Heart Association, building healthier lives free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. Funds raised go to research, education and public health programs.
