Educator of the Month
The EDUCATOR OF THE MONTH is:
Michael Igney…12th Grade Computer Maintenance at Siegel High School
What made you decide to become an educator? It’s an opportunity to give back to the community as well as helping our youth. It is exciting to give youngsters the skills they need in the future.
What do you enjoy MOST about teaching? Hearing the view and interests of the students, and seeing their skills improve. You can actually see them growing mentally.
What are the achievements for which you are most proud? Career aside… My own children. I also enjoy coming in (to school) and getting to do something I love.
Before you retire, is there something you would like to accomplish in your educational career? I just want to make the MOST of everyday!
Special thanks to TOOT’S GOOD FOOD & FUN for the dinner,
