Educator of the Month
brought to you on WGNS Talk Radio by…

Smyrna High School Agriculture Teacher Mac Nolen is our Educator of the month!
What made you decide to become an educator? My Dad was an educator, so I decided it looked like something I might like to do.
What do you enjoy most from working with students? Being able to talk to them and have them confide in me.
What are the achievements for which you are most proud? Changed program from agriculture to horticulture. Hydroponics–growing plants without soil.
Before you retire, is there something you would like to accomplish in your educational career? Have honor students in the classes.
Special thanks to TOOT’S GOOD FOOD & FUN for the dinner,
and L & K Trophy House for the beautiful Teacher of the Month plaque
