Each week WGNS goes through nominations from local residents for emergency responders and telecommunicators who have gone the extra mile to protect and serve the Heart of Tennessee. When one of our local public servants goes the extra mile, put it in writing and send the information to WGNS. Recipients get dinner for two at Demos’ Restaurant here in Murfreesboro. Please let the people at Demos’ Restaurant know that you appreciate their support of our local emergency responders.

The Demos’ family is so proud of all of the emergency responders in our community that this tribute has been expanded. It now includes all facets of law enforcement, paramedics (ambulance, helicopter, special rescue teams), firefighters, and telecommunicators from all of the emergency service agencies.
