Development Director John Mitchell says they're scheduling shift captains now for Christmas kettle season, which is underway:

Bell ringing shifts are available through December 24th all over Rutherford County. Mitchell says it's a great opportunity for students needing volunteer hours for Tennessee Promise and other scholarships and for employers who want to encourage their employees to give back to the community:

The Salvation Army provides assistance to clients in their homeless shelter and social services programs.

To sign up to ring the bell during Christmas this year or to find out more about how to become a shift captain, call the Salvation Army at 615-895-7071.
