The Blue Raider Athletic Association is joining United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties to collect items for Back to School kits for kids Pre-K through fifth grade.

Claire Oliver with the United Way told News Radio WGNS they aim to collect more supplies than ever this year...

If you want to donate school supplies, you can drop them off at Hobgood Elementary in Murfreesboro.

The drop off dates are July 14th and 15th. You can also drop off items at the MTSU Blue Raider Athletic office now through July 18th.

Following items needed for the kits:

• Crayons (24 count Crayola)
• Scissors (Fiskar)
• Composition or Spiral Notebooks with wide-ruled paper
• Glue Sticks (Elmer's)
• Folders with Pockets and Prongs
• Container for supplies
• 1" 3 Ring Binder
• Expo Markers (dry erase)
