Search for Missing Teacher Continues

The search for a missing teacher from Shelbyville whose car was found burning in a field in Murfreesboro over a year ago continues. Shelly Mook went missing in February of 2011. Mook was scheduled to meet a repairman at her new apartment in Murfreesboro on the day of her disappearance, but never made it. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has told the media that new leads have come in regarding Mook’s disappearance.


On Thursday, authorities canvassed a CSX rail yard in Cowan, Tennessee. The results of their search have not been released.
