Reports indicate a serious auto accident occurred on I-24 in the LaVergne area Wednesday night around 9. The Jaws of Life had to be used to free at least one victim out of a small sedan that struck a rock wall along the interstate. Another car spun around and came to a stop on the shoulder of the roadway.

The crash is under investigation and details have yet to be released.
