There was a shooting reported this past Saturday in Murfreesboro, but no one was injured. The shooting happened in the parking lot of the Dodge's Store on Broad Street near West Main at about 1 in the morning.

A Murfreesboro officer actually heard the shots being fired as he was directing traffic on a nearby street. When he made his way to the store, he saw people fleeing the store on foot and in cars. When speaking to a witness it was learned the subject doing the shooting was a black male with dreads. The man was sitting in the back seat of a late model Infinity, silver in color.

At this point, an arrest has not been made. The case is under investigation.
