A male and a female believed to be from Alexandria, Tennessee are accused of visiting a Murfreesboro Kroger store to shoplift.

The two went to the Middle Tennessee Boulevard Kroger Store and filled a shopping cart with groceries. When an employee noticed the two pushing their cart out of the store without paying for the goods, he questioned them.

The man and woman gave the grocery items back, but refused to go into the store while the manager called police.

The two fled the scene in a 2006 Volkswagen that showed Tennessee Tag number 2A9-4N9 on the back, which returned to an Alexandria address.

So far, the duo has not been charged.
