Another shots fired call has been reported in the downtown Murfreesboro area. This time, the shots were heard in the area of Maney Avenue at College Street. Evidently, the shots were fired when a taxi driver approached the intersection of Maney at College.

The taxi driver told police said that the shooter was in a red pickup truck on Thursday morning around 7. Police wrote in a report, "The driver of the pickup held a handgun out of the window and shot in her direction. She advised that she saw the weapon and it appeared to be a compact Glock and it also sounded like a Glock."

What was odd about the case, others in the area said they never heard gunfire nor saw anything.

That red truck has not been located.
