Sleeping in Walmart in Murfreesboro Lands One Woman Behind Bars

A woman who was found asleep on an aisle inside the Walmart store on Old fort Parkway ended up being arrested on drug possession charges. Murfreesboro Police arrived at Walmart around 7:30, Monday morning. Officer Adamson located Summer Pate who was found to be asleep in the sitting position on an aisle in the store.

Police woke the sleeping female and asked permission to search her purse. Police say they found an assortment of pills in the purse that included Valium, Morphine, Oxycodone and Xanex. As a result of the pills, the 33-year old woman was charged with public intoxication, the manufacturing or the sale of a schedule two drug and a schedule four drug.
