Smyrna resident who is a Coffee County Coach, wrecked on I-24

PHOTO BELOW: Coffee County assistant football Coach Randy Horn was transported to the hospital after he wrecked his 1997 Ford F-150 pickup truck this past Friday morning on I-24 near mile-marker 109. According to a report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol the 45 year-old Horn, who is from Smyrna, TN merged into the right lane and continued to the right and exited the roadway. The vehicle traveled down an embankment where it struck a tree and turned over onto its top.

After Horn was rescued from the truck he was transported with injuries by Coffee County EMS to the Medical Center of Manchester and was later transferred to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. He is set to have surgery today (Monday, 2/16/15).
