On Tuesday morning (8/15/17), there was a reported AT&T Mobility cellular service outage throughout the area. However, the solution to the problem was found and repaired within about 30 minutes. That being said, the issue appears to have been fixed.

This issue apparently impacted a customer's ability to dial 911 in some areas.

The problem was not a 911 network issue, it was instead an AT&T Mobility issue. But, AT&T evidently tackled the issue with their service group and fixed it.

For future reference, if you have difficulty placing calls to 911 you are encouraged to call emergency personnel directly.
