Some who need counseling, do not know where to turn in Rutherford County

Quality mental health care with a biblical foundation got easier to access in Middle Tennessee with the addition of four new counselors to the staff of Branches Counseling Center in Murfreesboro, bringing the total number of counselors to ten.

Mike Courtney, Ph.D., founder and executive director of the eight year old non-profit and faith based counseling center, announced the addition of three local counselors and one in the Lebanon/Mt. Juliet area.

The four new counselors are: Daniel Crosby, LCP-MHSP with an M.A. from Trevecca Nazarene University and B.A from Lipscomb University; Tammy Johnston, M.S in counseling from University of Southern Mississippi counsels with Branches’ partner The Bridge Fellowship Church in Lebanon, TN.; Cindy Hornbaker, M.A in Professional Counseling, Liberty University; and Ashley Sharpe, M.A. in Christian Counseling Oral Roberts University (Photos below).
