While the event is not open to the public, it is worth mentioning as it demonstrates how young leaders in our community are moving forward in life.

On Thursday evening (4/5/18), the United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties will be hosting the Young Leader Society Founding Member Reception to celebrate the launch of the United Way's newest initiative to connect with emerging leaders in the community.

The Society is comprised of those 40 and younger who are looking to connect to their community, become a better leader and make a lasting impact. Rick Insell, MTSU's Head Women's Basketball Coach, will give brief remarks about what it means to be a leader.

The Thursday evening event will be held at the Vintage at the Avenue (1349 Greshampark Drive) in Murfreesboro.
