Bonnaroo is now over and many concert goers stuck around. Some of those concert goers traveled to Rutherford County where they are currently staying on Hippie Hill. WGNS’ Scott Walker spoke to Thomas Maddux who goes by the nickname of Hippie Tom who told us he takes in homeless concert goers when Bonnaroo is over…

“Hippie Tom” told WGNS that he and his wife teach travelers new trades like making jewelry, photography and more. During visits at the camp, guest pay $10 to $20 to see concerts perform each night. They are also provided a place to pitch a tent for the night, week or even longer.

Hippie Tom will be "LIVE" on WGNS with Scott Walker on Friday morning at 8:10 for an interview. Listen online, on the radio or on our smart phone app this Friday.
