Special Kids Therapy & Nursing Center has been selected as a Chick-fil-A® Foundation "True Inspiration Awards" winner for the Atlantic region and has been awarded $75,000. Voting was open to the public from September 1 through October 21 and took place on the Chick-fil-A One app.
Special Kids was nominated for this year's True Inspiration Award by Beau Noblitt, the Owner and Operator of two Chick-fil-A restaurants in Murfreesboro, the city in which Special Kids is located.
Noblitt noted, "I've always been drawn to Special Kids because of their mission to impact the lives of children and families. Our organizations are very similar in that regard. We nominated Special Kids not only because of their mission but because of the way they pour themselves out fully for the children. When you spend time at the Special Kids campus, there is an undeniable sense of true love and commitment to changing lives. I am thrilled Special Kids has been awarded this amazing grant for a truly worthwhile cause in our community."
The Chick-fil-A True Inspiration Awards are inspired by the life and generosity of the late founder of Chick-fil-A, S. Truett Cathy.
