Only a few open seats remain for the Special Kids Banquet on Thursday, September 27, at Middle Tennessee Christian School in Murfreesboro. Entertainment will be provided by Logan Blade, a young man who was diagnosed with autism at age two. Although Logan is non-verbal today, remarkably he is able to express himself through song. Dinner will be provided by Demos' Brands.

"With only 32 seats open, we thank the community for their support of this event," shares Rachel Braziel, Special Kids event coordinator. "We are expecting a full house with 400 guests coming out to support the kids."

The theme for the banquet event is "An evening sharing and shining His light" based on John 8:12 which says, "Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, 'I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.'" The Banquet will also feature children and families impacted by the Special Kids ministry.

The Banquet will commence with a silent auction at 5:30 pm to be immediately followed by dinner, a program and live auction. "There are amazing silent and live auction items this year. Everyone is going to have fun bidding," states Braziel.

Currently, 4 tables of eight are available for $800, and individual tickets are on sale for $100. To reserve a seat, visit specialkidstn.com/banquet or call 615.893.4892. 100% of proceeds from the event will benefit children with special needs and their families served at Special Kids Therapy & Nursing Center because of the generous sponsors who have come along beside them.
