The grand re-opening of the St. Clair Street Senior Center is set for 2:00 to 4:30 Friday afternoon, July 28th. A total renovation of the facility has taken place over the past year, and the outcome has members saying: "This place looks like a luxury resort."

St. Clair's Director Connie Rigsby said that members have been using the beautifully renovated facility now for several weeks. She described it as their "soft opening".

There is no fee for membership, and Rigsby said all you need to be is a Murfreesboro resident who is age 60-plus.

She did note there were occasionally fees related to travel expenses, or fees to cover the expenses of certain goods or services.
