Statement from Representative Joe Carr in response to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s endorsement of Senator Alexander on Thursday afternoon:

“This endorsement shows how out of touch Senator Alexander is with Tennessee voters. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce supports Common Core, amnesty for 11 million illegal aliens, and bank bailouts. It is no coincidence that Senator Alexander voted for these issues and against the wishes of a majority of Tennesseans. Why does Senator Alexander continue to represent the special interests in D.C. instead of Tennessee values?”
