This year's featured keynote speaker is Scottie Nell Hughes, a journalist and former spokesperson for President Donald Trump. Additionally, Andrea Norberg, president of the Republican Women of Rutherford County, and April Carroll, president of the Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) College Republicans, will address the audience.

Rep. Terry, known for his commitment to outreach, began holding the free event in 2014 as an opportunity to not only inform women in the community about opportunities to get involved and make a difference, but also to help provide the tools needed to be successful.

"This event is a great way for the women of House District 48, Rutherford County, and surrounding areas to find out how they can become more involved in our state's political process and economic development," said Representative Terry. "I am grateful to Representative White for her support and partnership in serving as a co-host, and I know our speakers will do an exceptional job in order to ensure the evening is a tremendous success."

Rep. White, a co-host since 2015, is serving her third term in the Tennessee General Assembly. She currently serves as both the treasurer and secretary of the Tennessee House Republican Caucus.

"I was fortunate to have parents that taught me the importance of community involvement from an early age, and I have been blessed to serve with many women in civic roles throughout our community, whose influence has been instrumental in developing leadership skills," said Representative White. "I am excited to co-host this event and provide an avenue for women to learn about opportunities to serve our community."
