Severe thunderstorms leave behind some cleanup. La Vergne was particularly hard hit by the Tuesday night storms.

National Weather Service storm spotters reported dime sized hail there. Law enforcement in La Vergne also reported trees down on cars and power lines down. A severe thunderstorm rolled through north Rutherford County around 9pm causing the damage.

High winds ahead of the storms also took down some trees. Around 3:30pm, the National Weather Service had a report of a tree which fell on a car on East Main Street in Murfreesboro.
