A 33-year old Murfreesboro woman was robbed of her wedding ring and wallet as she left Advanced Financial on South Church Street across from Indian Hills Golf Course. The robbery occurred around 10:00 on Tuesday evening.

The victim told police that she was robbed directly in front of the business. Furthermore, the female was also assaulted by the assailant. The unknown robber attacked her from behind.

The man who robbed her was described as a black male wearing blue jeans and a red shirt. He left in an unknown make and model two door vehicle occupied by two more men, both of whom appeared to be of African American descent.

The man also got away with the victims food stamp card, debit card, several gift cards and $25 in cash that was in her wallet.

The strong armed robbery may have been captured on surveillance cameras at the store, but an arrest has yet to be made. Detectives are currently investigating the case.
