The man who was arrested in LaVergne for allegedly setting a house on fire while his girlfriend, her two young children and a dog were in it, is still behind bars. Eric Sharpe has not been able to come up with the funds to bond out of jail at this point. The bond is $38,000.

Police say that the women and children inside the Forest Ridge Drive home escaped when it went up in flames this past weekend. However, the family dog perished in the blaze.
