Suspect arrested with cocaine and more in Murfreesboro

For time number 7, a local man was charged with "Driving on a Revoked License." 23-Year old Jeremy D. Marable was pulled over on Middle Tennessee Blvd. after being seen by police with his car headlights turned off at night.

When Marable was questioned by police it was revealed that he had six prior charges for Driving on a Revoked License or Driving on a Suspended License. He also had a warrant for his arrest from Sumner County for theft over $500.

During an inventory of the vehicle, police say they located 16-grams of marijuana in the glovebox, which added to the charges. They also found 17-grams of cocaine in a sunglasses case that was in the headliner of the car. 8 more grams of cocaine was then found under the driver's seat in a sandwich bag.

Before transporting Marable to the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center, they located over $1,500 in his pocket. The money was seized along with a cell phone.

Marable was booked under a $14,000 bond and charged with:

  • Driving on a Revoked License for the 7th time
  • Felony Possession of a schedule six drug
  • Felony Possession of a schedule two drug
  • Served a theft warrant out of Sumner County

The suspect will appear in court on May 4, 2015.
