A Flat Rock Road home is a total loss after a fire.

Rutherford County Fire and Rescue reports the home was ablaze when crews arrived around 5:30 Sunday afternoon. There were no residents in the home at the time.

Engines and tankers from Rutherford County Fire and Rescue Stations 51 and 52 were joined by crews from Kittrell and Lascassas Volunteer Fire Departments to put out the fire.

Investigators consider the fire suspicious and are currently investigating.
