In celebration of the new Murfreesboro location, Colorado-based The Egg & I Restaurant raised over $1,700 at a pre-opening training day, with all proceeds benefitting local nonprofit Special Kids.
On Sunday, November 25, The Egg & I hosted a complimentary, private breakfast and lunch event with all diners encouraged to donate money for children with special needs in the community.
“All of us at the new The Egg & I Restaurant are very excited that we were able to assist Special Kids in raising more than $1,700 during our pre-opening training day,” said Kevin Daher, General Manager of the new The Egg & I location. “The Murfreesboro community has really shown us a warm welcome, and we can’t wait to become more involved in our new community and make new friends.”
The new Murfreesboro The Egg & I, located at the northeast corner of Medical Center Parkway and North Thompson Lane, is the 67th company and franchise restaurant operating within 16 states across the nation.
Special Kids is a Christian nonprofit organization located in Murfreesboro, TN, providing therapeutic rehabilitation and professional nursing services to children with special needs.
