The future of the Murfreesboro Police Department - The new building

The Murfreesboro City Council will hear a presentation from architectural consultant Kennon-Calhoun Workshop during a Special Meeting of the Council, Thursday, March 12, 2015. The purpose of the meeting is to learn more about preliminary plans for construction of a new Murfreesboro Police Department Headquarters in an existing renovated structure at 1004 Highland Avenue.

Who: Kennon-Calhoun Workshop, a Nashville-based professional architecture and design firm, will gather with members of the Murfreesboro City Council, City administrators, and MPD leadership.

What: A presentation workshop to provide the City Council with an overview of preliminary plans for the new Police Headquarters.

The Police Headquarters project is expected to bid later this summer or early fall.
