The population at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center, which is called 940 by some, is seeing a large increase in inmates... almost 120 NEW inmates per month.

That was Rutherford County Sheriff Robert Arnold. New inmates do not necessarily mean new persons arrested and released on bond the same day. New inmates are those who are currently housed in the jail.
