David Price, who plays for the Boston Red Sox, is from Murfreesboro, TN. Price, who once played baseball at Blackman High School, got the idea to build the Miracle Field after volunteering to help special needs children in Tampa, Florida.

The special needs baseball field is being built in front of Sports*Com at the intersection of DeJarnette Lane at Memorial Boulevard. Next to the field will be a special needs playground for children who are disabled.
