THIS WEEK: 2018 Old Timers' Festival - Small Town, Big Future

The city of La Vergne's biggest festival of the year is just days away. This year plans are in place for the biggest carnival to date, live music, an animal zone, kids zone, dozens of arts and craft vendors and local businesses set up at Veterans Memorial Park.

The carnival got underway on Wednesday, September 5th at 5:00 p.m. They close at 11:00 p.m. each night. On Thursday and Friday the carnival is open from 5:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. On Saturday, the carnival opens at Noon and will remain open until 11:00 p.m.

This year LaVergne will also have a Kids Zone in conjunction with the Public Library's set up on one of the baseball fields near the Music Stage. We will have a balloon artist, face painter and lawn games, along with local Boy Scout and Girl Scout groups.
