With the ring of school bells soon to fade, laughs and screams at local public pools will usher in the summer season.

The Boro Beach at SportsCom on Memorial Boulevard in Murfreesboro and Smyrna's Splash Town are set to open next Monday (May 26th).

Memorial Day is the unofficial start to summer and that's when the pools will become busy. Boro Beach will open from 10am until 4:30pm at a cost of seven-dollars for adults and five-dollars for kids.

The Smyrna Outdoor Adventure Center Splash Town will open Memorial Day from 10am until 6pm. It's on Sam Ridley Parkway. Cost to enjoy the refreshing water park is five-dollars for adults and four-dollars for kids.
