TMSGA Middle School Golf Results

Champions Run Golf Course hosted the TMSGA M4 District Golf Tournament this week. On Monday, the first place winning girls team was Stewart Creek Middle with a 96.

Three middle school girls played off in a two hole "sudden death playoff". The playoff was between Kat Harper-48 (Stewart Creek), Italee Philom-48 (Rockvale) and Kylie Hammonds-48 (Stewart Creek). At the end of the two holes, Kat Harper (Stewart Creek) received first place in the girl's individual event.

Oakland Middle and Rock Springs Middle girl teams played off for second and third place. Oakland receives second place (103), Rock Springs -third place (103), Rockvale - 106, Central Magnet - 111, Christiana - 112 and Siegel - 116. Overall seven girl teams with twenty-three individuals played nine holes in this year's district golf tournament.

First place winning boys team was Oakland Middle with a 362, second place Siegel Middle - 367, Rock Springs - 416, Rockvale - 419, Sante Fe - 425, Blackman - 431, Christiana - 439 and Stewart Creek - 447.

Josh Halasz from Siegel Middle wins first place in the boys individual event with an 82. Overall eight boy teams with forty-five individuals played nineteen holes in this year's district golf tournament.

The advanced teams and individuals from Rutherford County will play in the Middle Region Tournament on Monday, May 11th-12th at Champions Run. Good luck teams.
